Autumn Lip Picks

For every season I always create a list of some lip products I love for that particular season and will be using a lot. My ‘lip pick’ posts are some of my favourites to write, but words cannot describe how exited I was to write this post. Autumnal lip colours are definitely my favourites – the berry’s, deep reds and browns just get me feeling so festive and look amazing on my pale skin which is a plus. I love them!! Although I’m sure I could keep babbling on about autumn-winter and my love of lipsticks for quite some time, that’s not why your reading this post so let’s get on with the lip picks!!!

MAC Matte Lipstick in Diva

Diva is a classic lip colour – especially when it comes to fall. It is a beautiful, dark, matte, berry-red. My favourite thing about it is that it’s really moisturising, even though it’s a matte lipstick so you don’t have to worry about it drying out your lips during the winter months.

 Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in 4 Perfect Plum

On the (much) cheaper end of the spectrum is this beautiful lip butter. The shade 4 Perfect Plum is a gorgeous, deep berry shade that I adore. Its glossy – but not too glossy – and really moisturising, which is perfect for fall when my lips always seem to be feeling a bit dry.

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in 140 Coy

A much more nude lip colour is this Revlon Laquer Balm. The shade Coy is a red toned, shimmery brown that is incredibly wearable. For a bold lip I apply a lot of the balm all over my lips and for a more subtle, wearable look I apply a little to the centre of my lips then blend it out using my finger.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

After being made famous as ‘Kylie Jenner’s go to lip colour’, this lipstick has been a staple in many Lipstick Lover’s makeup collections. It is a orange toned nude that is perfect for all occasions. Just like Diva (mentioned earlier) it doesn’t dry out the lips, and is a highly pigmented lipstick.

Kiko Long-Lasting Enigma Lip Pencil in 04 Theoretical Burgundy

Another slightly cheaper ‘lip pick’ is this gorgeous matte lip pencil. It is a lovely dark berry shade. It has a lovely creamy formula, and a light consistency so that once applied you really can’t feel it on the lips at all. As it’s so matte, it is really long lasting but surprisingly, doesn’t feel drying on the lips.
